In the world of saving time you should make a list of your chores so you can use it as a checklist to save time
Making lists is a really great way to put your busy mind at ease. Every night just before you are going to hit the hay, you really need to make a full and detailed list of what it is you need to achieve the following day. Your chore list can be as lengthy or as brief as you like it (obviously it will vary from day to day, person to person, and job to job).
Some folks or people just simply capture the main highlights of the coming day, where other people are really emphatic about carrying a small notebook around with them everywhere and then writing down every little thing that needs to be completed. The main aim here is to keep your brain in a highly positive state by not filling it with silly mundane little tasks that you may well forget anyway.
By doing this simple thing of writing down a list of your chores – both big and small – you will hopefully find that you no longer forget what needs to be done that day. This is very important when it comes to those forgetful Baby-do lists, “Baby, can you do this? Baby, will you do that.”
At the end of the day, if you make lists, you will hopefully not only feel more highly accomplished, but you will also feel as if you owned the day, rather than the day owning you.
So get yourself a notebook or an app on your iPhone and start making detailed lists of all the stuff you need to get done the next day. Also remember that it’s a really great feeling when you look at yesterday’s list and are able to draw a line through all the tasks that you’ve managed to accomplish – and not just simply have forgotten.
